Where there's life...
|
Science fact, love, romance story Up to 20 characters, some of them audio only. The world has been destroyed by a virus and the survivors are fighting a losing battle to stay alive. Humans have become infertile - or so a section of the commune would have the rest believe .The once large commune divides and self-destructs, leaving Pascoe a solitary figure in the world. To survive he has to sacrifice everything. The love of his life, friendship and above all - trust in fellow man. There is a continuous tension in the play as hopes are raised and dashed.
The set is the one
room he has barricaded against the world. Flashbacks take us to an
underground laboratory, a crash site and the commune itself - played
in simple sets. |

Crime Comedy
LANCE: YOUNG MAN OF AROUND 20 Two inept burglars break into the home of a crime boss. Hampered by stupidity, the entrance of the boss's wife and the arrival of her lover, things get progressively worse. We discover that one of the burglars is not as brainless as he seems and a series of twist and turns see the plot reach a conclusion.
The play is staged
in one store room of the crime boss's mansion, with only a door and
window for entrance and exit. |

The Interviews
|
Crime, Thriller Approximately 40 minutes duration Cast of six - can be male or female. Plus a silent Policeman standing by. On a stark stage people are interviewed by a mysterious man from the rear of the auditorium. It appears he wants to arrange a murder, but he is trapped by the policeman, posing as an interviewee. The interrogator is now interrogated and pleads his innocence in any plot. The story resolves itself with a twist at the very end. There is a dark stage, with all scenes played out with minimal set and stark lighting. Please enjoy. |
Marry Me Mel

A modern love Story Approximately 45 minutes duration
MEL 20+ Bryan is so desperate to win the love of his live, Mel, he will resort to any stunt. Mel's best mate is sympathetic, but unhelpful. Bryan's best mate is helpful, but unsympathetic. In the finale there is a dramatic switch, where all four discover the love of their lives.

SHARON
20+ Sharon is the business. Without her Southgate, Mornington, Dixon & Greeves would fall apart. But despite her demands for recognition and promotion, her boss, Duvall, keeps her trapped. Sharon makes a decision and puts Duvall in a predicament where he has to recognise her value. At last he sees the light, but it is all too late. Sharon has bigger ideas.
The action takes

PAUL: Teenager 15+ Set in the world of Big Brother, everyone has to ask permission for even the simplest things. Communication is through The Box. In the family home the teenagers begin to rebel. Isn't this excessive control just a con? Is there really anyone at the end of The Box? Their arguments are persuasive, so the truth is put to the test.
The action takes
place in a single room of a small flat. Decoration and furnishings

Staying in Lanes

Drama Approximately 30 minutes duration
D.J. Recorded The play explores the modern day icons of mobile communications, fast food, transitory companionship, human relationships and sexual attraction. The issues of congested roads, the reliance on quick journey times, the inconvenience of road maintenance, the stresses of motoring, etc. are familiar to us all. In extreme situations, who knows how we will individually react? The action of this play takes place in a traffic jam caused by road works, on the M25. The play starts mid afternoon on Friday and ends in the early hours of Saturday morning. Please enjoy. |
